Each group that uses the course has a custom program designed to address their specific needs. Two instructors are assigned to each group. These instructors will contact or meet with a group representative before you even arrive at the course to discuss your groups needs, wishes, concerns, and questions. Because of this we ask that each group that wants to use the course contact the Mountaineer Area Council Scout Office at (304) 366-3940 or e-mail Jeff Anderson at COPE@literati.com two months in advance to check for course availability, services, and fees.
The COPE Course is open for operation on weekends (Friday afternoon to Sunday evening) from March through October. Weekday use is currently limited to May through August.
