Morgan Rocks: Morgan rocks are 3 meters tall. They are primarily used the first two days of the Rock Climbing and Rappelling program at Camp Mountaineer. The program uses these rocks for boulder (short climbs without safety ropes, close spotting is used) and to introduce participants to top-roping (belay system in which the safety rope goes from the participant to the top of the rocks).

The Practice Pole: This ingenious idea was first used at the 1993 National Scout Jamboree. One of the three rappelling towers used this box and pole to introduce rappelling to the Jamboree participants. The top of the box is three feet high. This allows participants to "practice" going over the edge while the instructors can stand on the ground and instruct each individual.
