Awards Earned at COPE

Each participant receives a Camp Mountaineer COPE Necherchief as part of his/her experience on the Camp Mountaineer COPE Course.

The Camp Mountaineer COPE Achievement Patch was designed to provide recognition to those participants in the Camp Mountaineer COPE Program. Any participant who completes one of the four major COPE areas will be eligible to wear the patch, and to have the award cord designating the completed area attached.

The areas that are represented by the cord segments are:

* INITIATIVE GAMES (blue with orange and yellow tracers):
An individual must complete at least 10 initiative games to receive this cord.

* LOW COURSE (purple with pink and yellow tracers):
An individual must complete eight low-course activities to receive this cord.

* HIGH COURSE (white with pink and purple tracers):
An individual must complete six high-course activities to receive this cord.

* CLIMBING & RAPPELLING (red with white and grey tracers):
An individual must complete the Level 1 course (13+ hours) to receive this cord.

Climbing Merit Badge

 Climbing Merit Badge is available through both programs (Project COPE and Climbing/Rappelling).
